We design housing, all types of housing — from new single-family homes, additions, and remodels to large urban infill mixed-use and senior housing communities. We love the challenge of working at different scales, in different regions, for different clients. A lot of practices specialize in a certain size, type, or style of housing, but we have found great benefits in variety. The rigors of laying

out a large multifamily building leads to economic efficiencies in our single family projects, while the minute details of our single family work remind us not to overlook the small stuff in our multifamily residences. Our senior housing work, in particular, has made us experts at navigating complex codes and regulations. These skills benefit all our clients, leaving more time and budget for thoughtful, sensitive, and innovative design

After graduating with a masters in Architecture from the University of Kansas in 2024, Brenna made the move to Seattle. The adaptive reuse of a one story, 11,000 sf former strip mall into a vibrant, eating and drinking focused hub at the end of the Link Light Rail extension to Redmond, WA. The façade is being updated to create distinguished retail entries, color changes will bring contrast to an otherwise monochromatic composition. Additionally new, natural materials of wood, steel and glass will be converted into vibrant, active outdoor patio spaces filled with furnishings, fire pits, and trellis that promote outdoor dining and activity.

Welcome to the nexus of imagination and community at Children’s Museum and Family-Focused Affordable Housing, a mixed-use project located just south of downtown Bellevue where every corner holds the promise of adventure and connection to nature. This innovative development seamlessly integrates a 40,000 square foot children’s museum with 46 affordable two-bedroom and 3-bedroom apartment units across 6 levels. An 8,000 square foot entry plaza and 2,000 square foot roof deck serve as welcoming hubs for learning, play, and relaxation. Drawing inspiration from the enchanting beauty of the Pacific Northwest, the design embraces the spirit of a forest playground where biomorphic patterns, colors, and structures harmonize to create a captivating environment. Every element of the architecture is imbued with a sense of whimsy and wonder, inviting families to embark on a journey of discovery and delight.

Prose Kent is located on a dead end street in walking distance of the regional rail system and the Kent Station shopping complex. This efficient building is slab on grade, featuring minimal unit types, and ample surface parking for commuters. Resident amenity spaces include a fitness center, coworking space, and lobby lounge. Immediately to the east of the building on site is a natural wetland serving as the 100 year flood plain. ,This valuable green space was enhanced to create outdoor amenities to residents while still maintaining its function as a wetland.

Corner 18 stands as a testament to innovative design and meticulous craftsmanship, embodying the fusion of contemporary Asian aesthetics with the natural elegance of the Pacific Northwest. This architectural marvel boasts an open floor plan, tall windows inviting natural light, and natural finishes that seamlessly integrate with the surrounding environment. High-end touches grace every corner, from the striking floating staircase to the private walk-out decks, facilitating a strong connection between interior and exterior spaces. A featured piano room offers a haven for artistic expression, while the vaulted ceilings of the entry way adds a modern touch. Corner 18 is a true embodiment of architectural excellence, showcasing the firm's commitment to creating spaces that inspire and delight.

Inside, the Urbal Interiors team designed the home with an open-plan layout with high ceilings and a neutral color palette, exuding an atmosphere of spaciousness and sophistication. Hardwood floors and stone accents add warmth and texture to the living spaces, while modern fixtures and finishes elevate the overall aesthetic. The kitchen boasts premium appliances and custom cabinetry, making it both functional and sleek. High ceilings and large amounts of glazing enhance the sense of spaciousness and connection with the outdoors, complete with an ADU on the property providing luxurious accommodations for family members or guests.

Merrill Gardens at Gilroy is a senior living facility in a beautiful pocket of Silicon Valley. Gilroy's Mediterranean climate strikes a pleasant balance that has proven to be a welcoming community with serene surroundings and affording the residents to be able to enjoy year-round outdoor activities. The interior refresh project has been designed with the landscape of the rolling hills beyond its front doors. Deep greens and rich tones draw in the aesthetic of the spices that are produced within the community's agriculture scene while thoughtful space planning ensures that each amenity within the facility serves a specific purpose, providing residents with both privacy and communal areas for socialization.
