Today marks the final day of Construction Inclusion Week, Day 5: Community Engagement!

At JTM, connections are foundational to how we work and how we support our communities. Through volunteering, outreach, fundraising, and hosting nonprofit events at our office, we create opportunities to connect, contribute, and build lasting relationships beyond the job site.

That same commitment carries into our everyday interactions. Each time we share knowledge, invite someone into a conversation, recognize a person’s potential, or support a teammate, we help build a culture where everyone feels valued and included.

As Construction Inclusion Week comes to a close, our commitment continues through the ways we show up for one another and our communities every day.

Day 4 of Construction Inclusion Week 2026: Belonging and Workforce Culture

At JTM, we strive to create a workplace where everyone feels valued, respected, and connected. That sense of belonging grows through the ways we listen, support one another, and work together each day.

Yesterday, our Director of Human Resources, Kindra Davidson, SHRM-CP, led an interactive toolbox talk on creating a psychologically safe workplace where everyone feels comfortable sharing ideas, asking questions, and speaking up.

The conversation reinforced how our everyday actions strengthen relationships and support the culture of belonging we continue to build together at JTM.

We're excited to see our new office space at the Original Rainier Brewery featured in the Daily Journal of Commerce! Blending Seattle's rich history with a modern workspace, this project reflects our appreciation for historic preservation, thoughtful design, and quality craftsmanship.

We're proud to bring new life to this iconic space while creating room for JTM's continued growth.

Day 3 of Construction Inclusion Week: Economic Opportunity

Every subcontract or purchase order is a chance to expand economic opportunity. Broadening access to bidding brings new perspectives, encourages innovation and competitive pricing, and helps teams solve problems and keep projects on schedule.

At JTM, we prioritize partnerships with diverse subcontractors and are steadily increasing the percentage of subcontracts awarded to Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs). Through the Trade Partner Outreach events we’ve hosted, we’ve connected with diverse contractors and suppliers, shared opportunities, and built lasting relationships through continued support, equitable access, and meaningful engagement.

Day 2 of Construction Inclusion Week: Attract and Retain

Our people make JTM what it is. Welcoming new talent is one part of that, and giving people reasons to stay is just as important. That means supporting one another, recognizing each person’s contributions, and making room to learn and grow.

Our OneJTM mindset brings us together around that commitment, helping build lasting careers, a stronger industry, and thriving communities.

This past Saturday, a group of our JTMers participated in the 2026 Puget Sound Heart and Stroke Walk hosted by the American Heart Association ().

For years, JTM has supported Hard Hats with Heart, an initiative that engages construction workers nationwide and encourages longer, healthier lives. The walk gave us an opportunity to come together with the larger community in support of that mission.

For many of us, this cause is personal. We have family members, friends, and coworkers whose lives have been affected by heart disease, stroke, or cardiac arrest. We’re grateful to walk alongside one another and support the American Heart Association’s efforts to prevent and fight these conditions.

Creating a sense of belonging takes ongoing effort, thoughtful conversations, and a willingness to learn from one another. This week gives us an opportunity to reflect on our progress and consider how we can better support the people we work with every day, in the office and on our jobsites.

JTM is building a culture of belonging. Our goal is to ensure everyone has an opportunity to thrive. We’re committed to building a welcoming and inclusive workplace where everyone feels valued, supported, and heard. Each of us has a role in that effort through the respect we show, the perspectives we welcome, and the ways we work together.

PROJECT SPOTLIGHT | Premier on Pine

What started as one amenity refresh turned into a series of successful projects with Bozzuto at Premier on Pine.

JTM first transformed portions of the Level 40 amenity space, turning an existing theater into a podcast studio, creating a Peloton studio, and refreshing the surrounding spaces. From there, our team was brought back to refresh the Level 6 gym and complete Phase 2 of Level 40.

The latest phase added three private phone booths, new flooring and lighting, acoustic finishes, an electric fireplace, and custom gathering spaces, giving residents even more ways to work, connect, and recharge.

We’re proud to see great work lead to continued trust and new opportunities with our clients.
