Introducing the Stevens/North Capitol Hill Addition! 🏡 We transformed a classic 1908 Craftsman home by transforming underutilized porch space into a seamless mudroom addition.

Located between Volunteer Park and the Arboretum, this project aimed to blend new construction with the home's historic charm. Our goal was to create a "landing zone" for coats, shoes, and pet gear while maintaining the architectural integrity of the original design.

By enclosing part of the porch, we matched the exterior siding and trim, ensuring the mudroom feels like it’s always been there. Inside, a durable tiled floor and custom cabinetry provide modern functionality, while a new window floods the space with natural light.

In true style, we're remodeling our offices, starting with the front entry! 🚧🚪

We're in phase 1 of the transformation: creating a welcoming space for employees, clients, and trade partners. Even though it's loud and messy, we're embracing the experience and can't wait to reveal the results.

Our revamped entry will feature a wall showcasing CRD's legacy of 45+ years of milestones and the core values that drive us to help our neighbors live better in their homes.

Kudos to Design Manager Hollis and Interior Designers Magan and Lizzie for spearheading this effort. Stay tuned for more updates!

Our design team—Magan, Lizzie, Michael, Jan, and Hollis—recently went on an amazing, inspiring walking tour of the University of Washington campus! 🏛️

While there, they explored how the rich history of architecture reinforces the fundamentals of design. While we aren’t exactly building libraries or auditoriums, great design at any scale starts with understanding these core principles. It was an inspiring throwback to their Architecture and Interior Design days!

Spring cleaning season is here & we wanted to make it a little easier for the people who trust us with their homes! 🌿 We hosted our first-ever Spring Cleaning Pick-Up Day for our clients!

Donations went to organizations around the city, old paint cans got properly recycled, and the dump truck took care of the rest. Huge thanks to Leslie, Matt, Cowboy, and Teri for showing up and making it happen.

Our clients loved it so much that we're now offering this as a free service to all new clients before construction begins—because starting your remodel with a clean slate just makes everything better!

Introducing newest portfolio addition: the Fremont Townhouse Kitchen and Bathroom project! 🌿 We transformed this industrial townhome into a warm, treehouse-inspired retreat.

The once dark kitchen now features a multifunctional island with a custom built-in bench, blending dining and prep space. We softened the industrial vibe with vertical-grain rift-cut white oak cabinetry and sage-colored tile, creating a cohesive and inviting palette.

Then, in the bathroom, we improved flow by flipping the tub and shower, which enhanced the space without moving plumbing! Modern finishes like creamy tile, matte-black fixtures, and a dark walnut vanity add warmth and sophistication, perfectly balancing natural and modern elements.
