Affordable housing is essential infrastructure for strong, connected communities. During the Housing Development Consortium of Seattle - King County's 2026 Affordable Housing Week, we’re reflecting on a few of the housing projects we’ve had the opportunity to help bring to life across the Puget Sound region.

Join us on Saturday, May 16th for the 5th annual cold plunge to raise awareness for Brain Cancer and benefit the Fred Hutch Brain Tumor Research Fund!

We'll be plunging from Luther Burbank Park on Mercer Island. Please arrive at 9am and bring a towel!

May is Brain Cancer Awareness Month and to raise awareness, our very own Kim King and her care team puts on the “Brain Freeze for Brain Cancer” polar plunge-style event to raise awareness and funds for brain tumor research.

Recently, the Venture team partnered with the to complete in-kind improvements to a few equipment storage containers, applying protective floor coatings to create a safer, more durable, slip-resistant workspace

Kubota Gardens is one of Seattle’s true treasures, and we’re proud to support the people who care for it every day.

Venture completed a comprehensive tenant improvement at Merrill Gardens at the University, upgrading key amenity and common areas including the lobby, dining spaces, wellness center, theater, and residential corridors.

Because the community remained fully occupied, our team carefully phased construction to maintain daily operations while introducing new finishes, lighting, and cabinetry throughout.

The result is a warm, refreshed environment that brings new energy to the space while continuing to support residents and staff.

Venture and Seattle Housing Authority marked an important milestone at Jackson Park Village by completing the demolition of 41 existing units to make way for 100 new affordable homes.
