When a repeat client asked us to help renovate their cabin in Snoqualmie Pass, we were happy to take our work beyond our usual service area of West Seattle and the greater Puget Sound region!

Our team completed exterior and interior updates, helping protect the cabin from the elements while giving key spaces a fresh update.

On the exterior, we replaced all the windows and siding and completed dry rot repairs where needed. Inside, we installed new kitchen countertops and updated the bathroom by replacing the existing tub with a new shower featuring a porcelain tile surround.

From exterior repairs to interior improvements, we’re proud to bring the same craftsmanship and attention to detail to every project. We’re especially grateful for the continued trust of clients who invite us back for their next project.

What’s hiding behind your walls? Sometimes, a small leak is just the tip of the iceberg!

What started as a simple leak investigation quickly turned into a much larger restoration project when we opened a wall and discovered significant rot in the interior framing and sheathing, caused by a leaking roof scupper.

Our team is now hard at work repairing the damaged areas, replacing siding and interior drywall, and restoring the finishes with fresh paint.

A primary suite designed for relaxation, comfort, and a little everyday luxury!

This beautiful renovation in a Woodinville home brings together thoughtful design and custom craftsmanship to create a peaceful retreat. The expanded bathroom features a freestanding soaking tub, a spacious walk-in shower with Moroccan mosaic tile, custom detailing, and sleek glass doors.

A new double vanity offers plenty of space, complete with custom lighting and a dedicated makeup station. Just beyond, a spacious walk-in closet features custom cabinetry for seamless organization.

In the bedroom, a stunning forest-inspired mural and rich Farrow & Ball colors bring warmth and character to the space, tying the entire suite together.

Project complete in Mount Baker! (Prepare to be shocked by the kitchen renovation)

This extensive interior remodel transformed all three levels of the home, with thoughtful layout changes designed to create more space, improve flow, and add functionality for the family.

On the main level, we relocated staircases, added structural beams and arched openings, expanded the entryway, updated the living spaces, and created a new playroom with custom double pocket doors.

The kitchen underwent a major transformation. By removing walls, the former breakfast nook, and the old basement staircase, we created a much larger, open-concept layout featuring custom Creoworks cabinetry, a new island, appliances, lighting, flooring, windows, an arched range alcove, and a Juliette balcony.

Upstairs, we reconfigured nearly the entire layout to create a new primary suite, laundry room, and kids’ bathroom. The primary suite now features a vaulted ceiling with beams, skylights, a walk-in closet, and a brand-new bathroom with heated floors, a steam shower, a custom vanity, a soaking tub, and custom finishes.

The basement also received a new bathroom and a relocated staircase, completing this extensive three-level transformation.

From structural changes and reconfigured layouts to custom details and finishes, this Columbia City home has been reimagined for how this family lives today.

What started as a straightforward reclad has become a full restoration, and this community gathering place is getting closer to its next chapter.

After uncovering extensive moisture damage within the building’s framing, our team shifted gears to repair and reinforce the structure before moving forward with the exterior. Now, all rot repairs are complete, the building is fully waterproofed, and the new siding is approximately 95% finished.

Inside, trim and window trim work is underway in the ballroom, while demolition has begun in the bathrooms and entrance. The expanded restoration will also include two fully remodeled bathrooms, flooring and drywall repairs, new interior and exterior doors, fresh paint and trim, commercial kitchen updates, a refreshed foyer, and reconfigured storage.

Next up: walkway repairs and continued interior finishes.

There’s still work ahead, but it’s exciting to see this space taking shape again. It will be stronger, more functional, and ready to serve its community for years to come.

Our Small Projects team has been keeping busy, tackling everything from water damage and remediation calls to deck coatings and rot repairs.

One of the team’s current projects is a deck rot repair in Magnolia. After uncovering a rotted beam supporting the deck, the crew removed and replaced the damaged material, then replaced the existing tile surface with a new Gaco deck coating system, creating a durable, waterproof finish built to protect the deck for years to come.

Jacob wears many hats within the company. If he’s not helping the team set up tech devises or rebuild and manage our tech system, he’s ensuring that STS’s operations run smoothly. Thank you, Jacob, for all of your hard work, and cheers to 15 years, and more!

Progress update from our Laurelhurst addition and remodel!

The team recently completed the concrete pour for the 8-foot stem wall, with backfilling to follow. Joisting and framing are also underway as the new spaces begin to take shape. This phase includes an addition at the back of the home, along with a new addition above the garage that will become a bathroom and laundry.

More progress to come as we continue building out this transformation.
