We finally made it to Eagle Cap Wilderness 👏🏼 It was more beautiful than I expected it to be. It was the most challenging backpacking trip I’ve been on so far in life, both mentally and physically, and I quite literally wouldn’t have made it without the help of my husband and wonderful friends that pushed me along. Rain on the first day discouraged us, but I’m glad we didn’t decide to go home or else we would have missed out on all this beauty. Once again I’m humbled by the amount of effort and good health that a body has to be in in order to make it to places like this. I’ll never take this life or this body for granted. I’ll be out here with my buddies every Spring and Summer until my body says no more. Hope you are having a beautiful Summer!
