Attention!

The City of Florence would like to notify customers of scheduled maintenance along Old Marion Highway at Ashby Road, starting Wednesday, September 25, at 9:00 pm, and along North Williston Road, starting Thursday, September 26, at 9:00 pm. Affected customers in these areas may experience low water pressure or service disruptions during these times as necessary maintenance is conducted.

HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR
-Must have a minimum 5 years experience operating equipment not limited to excavators, bull dozers & backhoes.
-Must be able to read job plans.
-Understand slope and grade.
-Must be able to use hand tools and small equipment.
-Must be able to and comply with safety regulations while operating heavy equipment.
-Must have a valid drivers license and be able to work weekends and overtime.
-Experience in water/sewer construction is PREFERRED.
-PAY DEPENDENT UPON EXPERIENCE.

PIPELAYER
-Must have experience laying water/sewer lines.
-Must have a valid drivers license and be able to work weekends and overtime.
