Decades ago, SWABACK spent 25 years helping shape the Village of Kohler, Wisconsin - one of America's great planned industrial communities. A manufacturing company that believed its workers deserved not just wages, but a real place to live. A real town.

Now we're working on Halo Vista sta - a 2,300-acre community rising next to TSMC's semiconductor campus in North Phoenix.

Different industry. Different century. Same fundamental question: what does a great manufacturing city actually look like?

The American factory town never really died. It just needed to be reimagined. That work is underway - and we're proud to be part of a firm with the lineage and conviction to take it on.

The reindustrialization of America isn't an abstraction. It's dirt turning in the desert. Arizona is where it's happening.

April is National Landscape Architecture Month - and Painted Sky Park at Blossom Rock is a perfect reminder of what great landscape design can do for a community.

Our landscape architects helped shape this 16-acre public park as part of the larger Blossom Rock master plan in Apache Junction - weaving together open space, native desert character, and community programming into something that genuinely serves the people who live there. From the catch-and-release fishing pond to the adventure playgrounds and gathering spaces, every element was designed to connect residents to each other and to the Sonoran Desert landscape they call home.
