A beautiful living room should still feel like somewhere you actually want to spend time. We like using warm wood tones, layered textures, neutral furnishings, and thoughtful lighting to create spaces that feel refined without becoming too formal or fragile.

The custom fireplace and wood-accented wall give the room a natural focal point, while the seating arrangement keeps the space centered around conversation and connection. Details like the statement chandelier, plantation shutters, and tailored finishes add polish, but the goal is still comfort.

For us, good residential design comes down to how a space supports everyday life. If you're thinking about redesigning your living room or transforming another part of your home, DM us and tell us what you have in mind.

This empty space is being transformed into a brand new primary master closet, designed to completely change how the homeowners use their bedroom suite. The existing closet is undersized, which is common in older home layouts where storage was not prioritized the way it is today.

To solve that, we’re extending the wall to reconfigure the floor plan and create a dedicated his and hers closet setup. The new design includes space for an island, built-in storage, and dedicated areas for shoes, purses, and everyday organization. The goal is to make the space feel intentional, functional, and tailored to how the homeowners actually live.

Projects like this are less about adding square footage and more about rethinking how existing space can be used better. A well-planned reconfiguration can completely change the experience of a primary suite without needing a full addition.

If you’re thinking about reworking your primary suite or adding more functional storage to your home, DM us!

Kitchen remodel costs can vary dramatically depending on the size of the space, the existing layout, appliances, materials, and how much we're changing structurally. A full renovation that keeps most of the footprint is very different from completely rebuilding the kitchen.

For a full kitchen remodel, we're typically seeing budgets around $100,000 to $200,000, depending on the scope. Cabinets, countertops, plumbing, electrical, appliances, flooring, and the amount of reconfiguration can all move that number significantly.

We'd rather look at the actual project than throw out a generic price based on square footage. If you're wondering what your kitchen remodel could realistically cost, DM us with a few details about your space and what you're looking to change.

A luxury kitchen doesn't have to feel overly formal. We like designs that balance beautiful materials with the way the space actually gets used. Here, the white cabinetry and veined marble create a timeless foundation, while the deep navy-black lower cabinets add contrast without making the room feel heavy.

The oversized island is really what brings everything together. It creates space for prep, seating, and entertaining, while the brass accents add warmth against the cleaner contemporary finishes. Large windows and glass doors also make the kitchen feel connected to the outdoors, which is especially important for Arizona homes.

The goal is to create a kitchen that looks elevated but still feels comfortable enough for everyday life. If you're thinking about remodeling your kitchen and want help figuring out what your project could look like, DM us and tell us what you're considering.

Since the last update, this casita has made a big jump toward completion. The walls are fully painted, large format tile flooring is installed, and the space is starting to feel like a finished home rather than a construction site.

We used 4x2 ft tile throughout the main areas to create a clean, continuous look that helps the space feel larger and more cohesive. Cabinetry is now in place, countertops are installed, and all baseboards and trim work are complete. Lighting has also been installed, including pendant fixtures that help define the kitchen and living areas.

At this stage, it’s all about the finishing details coming together and preparing for final walkthrough. This is where a project really starts to show its full design intent and how all the planning translates into the final space.

Some of the most impressive parts of a home are the ones you'll never see once construction is finished. This cantilevered corner is a perfect example. It creates the appearance of an open, floating corner while the structural support is carefully engineered behind the scenes.

The beams connect through a concealed steel post that carries the load without interrupting the clean architectural lines. Once drywall is installed, the structure disappears, leaving behind a seamless open corner that feels effortless even though there's a lot of engineering making it possible.

Details like this are what make modern custom homes so unique. They're not just design features. They're carefully planned structural solutions that allow for larger glass, cleaner lines, and more open living spaces while maintaining the strength and durability the home needs.

If you're planning a custom home with modern architectural features, send us a DM and let's talk about your vision.

The finished project is what everyone sees.

This is part of what they don’t.

Every project requires planning, communication, problem solving, scheduling, and a team working together long before the next phase ever happens in the field.

These meetings aren’t the glamorous part of construction, but they’re an important part of how we keep projects moving and continue getting better at what we do.

The work behind the work.

Attached casita or detached casita?

Both can serve the same purpose, but they create a very different living experience. An attached casita makes everyday access easier and can feel like a natural extension of the main home. A detached casita gives guests or family more privacy and can make the property feel more like its own little compound.

In Arizona, the better option usually comes down to your lot, how much separation you want, and how you might use the space years from now. A casita could start as a guest house, then become a home office, a space for aging parents, or a more independent home for adult children. We like to think beyond the immediate need before deciding where it belongs on the property.

There really isn’t one right answer. The best casita is the one that fits how you want your property and family to function long term. If you’re considering an attached or detached casita in Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, or Phoenix, DM us and we’ll help you figure out which option makes the most sense for your property.

Another one is rising. 🏗️

Yesterday marked Day 1 of The Boston Rising Project.

What started as conversations, ideas and design is officially moving into construction.

This project will bring a new detached casita, gym + pool house, second-floor flex space, and outdoor living areas to life.

We’ll be sharing the transformation from the first day of demo through the final details.

This is where the vision starts becoming real.
