Update on the door to door salesmen. Unfortunately as we suspected they didn’t give up. They are now in North Vernon. Please be safe up there. They may or may not be a company called Eco Shield. Hard to know for sure because they make a point to not give out any info.

Warning Warning Warning. There are door to door salesmen in the area selling Pest Control Services. Although there shirt says Shield they are not affiliated with us in any way. We have been dealing with this all season, getting angry calls from Indy all the way down to Louisville! Whoever they are they are not legit. The Austin PD handled them today but our guess is they won’t quit that easy. So please be careful.

KEEP IT CLEAN!

This is not to say that everyone who ends up with mice or cockroaches has a dirty house. However, pests are usually looking for food, so the cleaner the house, the less likely they will stick around. Food left on the counter or the table, a mess left on the floor, or dirty dishes in a teenager's room can all be very attractive to household pests.

A good cleaning will go a long way to ensure that pests are not attracted to your home and that they don't have an incentive to stay. Don't make them feel at home!
