Congratulations to our client, Northway Golf Center on their ribbon cutting and grand opening!

C2 provided architectural design services for the expansion of Northway Golf Center, featuring a 2,300 sf expansion to the existing Toptrace golf bays and a 2,900 SF restaurant “the Clubhouse. The offerings are designed to enhance the facility’s year-round golf and hospitality offerings. The project also includes additional outdoor covered driving range bays, an 18-hole putting course, and expanded parking.

The expanded facility provides 8 total hitting bays during the warmer months, with each bay equipped with Toptracer technology for an enhanced, interactive experience. During the winter months, the facility can also accommodate indoor golf simulators, extending the golf experience throughout the year.

The new Clubhouse Restaurant + Bar also elevates the facility’s hospitality experience, offering expanded food and beverage options within a full-service restaurant and bar environment. The restaurant also has a raised viewing deck, overlooking the new putting course. Together, the improvements transform Northway Golf Center into a more all-around destination for golf, dining, entertainment, and year-round recreation.

The C2 crew headed to Joseph L. Bruno Stadium in Troy, NY, for a Tri-City ValleyCats game—and we showed up in style, sporting our C2 baseball jerseys and hats! ⚾

It was a night of cheering from the stands, soaking in the ballpark atmosphere, and celebrating Joe’s birthday with a very special guest—ValleyCats mascot SouthPaw!

A night at the ballpark with the C2 crew? We’ll call that a home run.

The C2 team headed to the site of a nine-story, adaptive reuse project at One Broadway Center in Schenectady, NY. The 160,000-square-foot building, which previously housed the NYS Lottery/Gaming Commission and Social Security office, is being transformed into office space for Schenectady County.

The goal of the project is to consolidate multiple county government offices under one roof, increasing accessibility while reducing costs. The renovated building will house the offices of the County Clerk, County Legislature, County Manager, Department of Social Services, County Human Resources Office and Family Court, among other operations and departments. The Social Security office will also remain.

For our team, a project tour is about more than seeing a building under construction—it’s an opportunity to see our designs come to life. Walking the site, seeing materials and details firsthand, and understanding how drawings translate into real-world construction provides valuable learning opportunities for everyone on the team.

There’s no substitute for getting out from behind the computer and seeing the work in progress. These experiences help us learn, ask better questions, and bring that knowledge back to future projects.

A Toast to C2 Culture 🍷🌎

C2 Week brought a little international flavor to the office with our very own World Cup of Wines! 🇦🇷🇪🇸

Staff sampled wines from Argentina and Spain while enjoying a beautiful charcuterie spread and subs from Jersey Mike’s. Good food, good wine, and—most importantly—good company made for a fun evening together.

C2 Week is here! 🎉

We’re kicking off our 7th annual C2 Week, a week dedicated to the people, traditions, and moments that make C2 more than just a place to work.

We started the celebration with some surprise C2 swag and a make-your-own BEC bar (IYKYK 🥓🍳🥯). Because while culture is built on how we work together, sometimes it’s also built around a good breakfast and a chance to hang out.

We’re looking forward to a week full of fun, connection, and plenty of reasons to celebrate the C2 team.

🎉 Celebrating 4 years with C2!

This month, we’re celebrating Aaron's anniversary!

When asked about a favorite project memory, he highlighted the expansion and transformation of miSci (Museum of Innovation and Science) in Schenectady. It’s especially rewarding to work on a project that creates an engaging place for both kids and adults to explore, discover, and learn.

Project Update: Steel is going up at the site of the future R M Dalrymple Co.

C2 provided architectural design services for a 17,000-square-foot office and warehouse facility in Stillwater, NY. The added warehouse and prefabrication space will allow the company to better serve clients, and the office space will support employee retention and attraction.

⛳ Good causes, great company, and a few questionable golf shots.

C2 was proud to sponsor and participate in two great tournaments this week: the Bill Baker Memorial Golf Tournament, benefiting the Mohonasen Foundation for Excellence at Pine Haven Country Club, and the Play It Foreward 518 Tournament at Van Patten Golf Club.

Both were fun days on the course supporting great causes, connecting with clients and consultants, and enjoying some friendly competition.
