We were commissioned to etch 16 tumblers. Four different logos etched onto 4 tumblers each. Three of the 4 logos are the names of houses in Duck. The 4th is a joke for a friend of the person who commissioned the glasses. Definitely learned tons doing Logan's wedding glasses. This production was very smooth. We put some red paper inside the glass so the etching would show better in the pictures.

We were tasked with laser engraving a photo onto a charcuterie board for a wedding gift. It was our first time doing this. It took some time getting the picture to the point it would work with the machine. We also quickly realized a lighter wood (here Maple) rather than our usual go to walnut was the way to go. We got a nice slab of Maple that had been drying in the barn for nearly 40 years. The customer loved it. Imagine crackers on one side of the photo and cheese on the other. It is 20" x 10". What do you think of our first stab?

Logan asked for 120 etched glasses for his wedding ceremony. So we had a crash course in expanding our skills from carving wood to etching glass. I won't say there wasn't any cursing involved - but we delivered in time for his big celebration. And of course, he has a charcuterie board. These make great gifts for special occasions.
