our paths crossed.
Maybe we worked together.

I’ve been staring at those words for a while, trying to figure out how to put ten years into one Facebook post.

And the truth is… I don’t think I can.

Ten years ago, Design & Development Group was an idea, a dream, and probably a little bit of craziness. 😊 I didn’t know exactly where this road would take me. I just knew I wanted to build something of my own — something I could be proud of.
What I didn’t know was how much this company would build me along the way.
These ten years brought incredible projects and accomplishments, but they also brought long days, sleepless nights, mistakes, lessons, disappointments, risks, difficult decisions and plenty of moments when giving up would have been the easier choice.
But we kept going.

And somewhere along the way, DDG became so much more than a company.

It became people. Relationships. Friendships. Clients who trusted us with their homes and businesses. Employees and subcontractors who put their talent, time and heart into what we do. Suppliers and partners who believed in us. And a family that stood behind me through all of it ❤

There is no such thing as building a company alone.
So today, when I look at 2016–2026, I don’t just see ten years in business.
I see every person who gave us a chance.
Every client who recommended us to someone else.
Every person who worked beside us.
Every problem we somehow figured out.
Every lesson that made us better.
Every “no” that pushed us toward another “yes.”
And every time we got knocked down and chose to get back up.

To everyone who has been a part of the DDG story — whether from day one, for one project, or somewhere in between — thank you.
Thank you for trusting us. Thank you for supporting us. Thank you for challenging us. And thank you for helping turn something that once existed only in my head into what DDG is today.

Am I proud? Absolutely.
But more than anything, I’m grateful.
And after ten years, one thing hasn’t changed:
We’re not done. Not even close. 🧡
