Today Nick Gaddar joins a panel of industry professionals at the Mass Timber Conference in Pennsylvania for “The Hybrid Advantage: Delivering High-Performance Student Housing.” The discussion will explore how hybrid construction approaches can support high-performance student housing.

Nick brings firsthand experience as Senior Project Manager for Colby College’s 112,000-SF Mayflower Hill Residence Hall in Waterville, Maine—Maine’s largest cross-laminated timber (CLT) project.

Joining Nick are Madison Rogers, Architect at Bruner/Cott Architects; Jared Coffin, Design Principal at Hanbury; and David Schlatter, Division Manager at Britt Peters and Associates.

We’re excited to announce that Landry/French Construction has acquired T Buck Construction, a Maine-based contractor specializing in bridge, water, wastewater, and infrastructure construction.

T Buck has built a strong reputation for quality work, integrity, and a commitment to its clients, partners, and people. As T Buck Construction, a Landry/French Company, the team will continue operating under the T Buck name and same leadership team.

This acquisition brings together two Maine companies with a shared commitment to doing great work and investing in people, while giving T Buck access to the resources, capabilities, and financial strength of Landry/French.

Landry/French CEO Kevin French joins fellow industry leaders today at the Zweig Elevate AEC Conference in Park City, Utah, for a candid discussion on leading through uncertainty.

Alongside Holly Kennedy of HDR and Tim Schroeder of Neumann Monson Architects, Kevin will share real-world perspectives on navigating change, creating clarity, making timely decisions, and taking decisive action in an evolving industry.

A new chapter in Florida.

Today, we’re proud to officially welcome the MH Williams Construction team to Landry/French Construction.

MH Williams became part of Landry/French in 2024, bringing together experienced construction professionals with deep roots in the Florida market. Now, that team is officially operating under the Landry/French Construction name.

Our Melbourne office, local leadership, project teams and commitment to our Florida clients remain unchanged. What’s growing is the depth of resources, expertise and capabilities behind them.

The Landry/French team is making great progress on the new Windham-Raymond Middle School. At 260,000 square feet, it will be the largest school ever built in Maine.

Designed for approximately 1,200 students, the new school will bring together students from Windham and Raymond with innovative learning spaces, two gyms, a 600-seat auditorium, an indoor elevated track, and spaces designed to connect the school with the broader community.

RSU 14 Superintendent Chris Howell recognized the progress, saying: “The amount of work that Landry/French has done over the past year is incredible.”

We’re proud of our team and trade partners who are making this once-in-a-generation project a reality—and building a school that will serve Maine students for decades to come.
