🥳Just a friendly update:
Exterior is going well, somewhat on schedule, but also some conflicts due to weather (per usual), projects that have come up that are time sensitive, and vacations/ family time.
I'm forever thankful for the clients who are eager for their projects to be done but also fully trust that I am doing my best to accommodate everyone and keeping priorities (business and personal) straight. You are all the real MVP.
✔️I will be out of office the end of June and into the second week of July. So we are trying to wrap up some time sensitive jobs prior to that, and I will come back to a fully packed schedule for the rest of July and August.
✔️Please always continue to reach out, we don't mind giving updates! And i do try to accommodate when things are more urgent
✔️Priority examples are:
Insurance deadlines
New buyers (empty house is the time to paint)
Before a house is listed for sale (paint before posting pictures)
Specialty Projects like surprise makeovers
Size/Location of jobs factor in big time also
✔️Some other factors to consider:
-We can't always start a big project when scheduled. If time sensitive jobs are needed, and a large job was scheduled right before, it could get moved in order to only have 1 project at a time. I cannot start an exterior if I don't have at least a full week to work on it.
-RAIN, HEAT, WIND, MORNING DEW- all factors that play into useful hours in a day.
-If rain probability is above 30% and my PAID PROFESSIONAL Weather Guy tells me he sees a sprinkle on the radar, I cannot have wet paint within 3 hours of that sprinkle. U will not risk it that day. (Thank you WILES VALLEY WEATHER)
If its going to sprinkle at 10am, I likely need to do an indoor project instead that day, as I cannot always waste half a day waiting for rain just to get a couple hours in
These are just some examples of situations that have occurred in the past or things that effect my schedule the most that some people may not think about.
99% of my clients have fully understood the stress of running a business that relies heavily on the weather. And ill keep saying it, THANK YOU for trusting me to run my business and your willingness to be flexible and so understanding.
There's going to be some changes to what projects I will be accepting in the future, especially jobs further away from home base. It is becoming very difficult to fit everyone in and even harder when I'm adding 2 hours of driving for round trips in a day. It's just too much when I come home to mom life as well.
