Our thoughts are with the Erie community and all those impacted by yesterday’s severe storms.

Against the backdrop of a difficult day for the region, an important milestone was reached on the Central Bayfront Parkway Project with the reopening of the State Street intersection and bridge – one month ahead of schedule.

We’re incredibly proud of our Team Members and project partners whose hard work, coordination and tenacity helped make this milestone possible.

Great works are built by great people, and we’re grateful to be part of the Team building an important connection for the Erie community.

🌮🔥 Carne Asada Day at our Wytheville Office!

Today, one of our team members and his crew treated us to an incredible, authentic carne asada lunch! 😋

Great food, great company, and a wonderful way to bring everyone together. We’re grateful for the delicious meal and for a teammate who went above and beyond to share a little something special with the office.

This week, each of our jobsites took time to stop work and refresh themselves on safety precautions regarding rigging, concrete burns, and incident reporting. These hazards can result in serious injuries when proper planning, equipment, PPE, and work practices are not used. These were the key takeaways:

🏗️ Rigging - Inspect it, verify its capacity, use the correct equipment, stay out of the line of fire, and never walk or work under a suspended load.

🔥 Concrete Burns - Prevent skin contact, wear the proper PPE, wash exposed skin promptly, and report suspected concrete burns immediately.

📝 Incident Reporting - No matter how big or small, always immediately report any incident, injury, equipment damage, or property damage to a supervisor.

We continue to reinforce the necessity of safety on and off the job to protect all team members and passersby. We cannot consider a project successful unless operations are conducted safely and everything possible is done to get each person home safe at the end of the day.

Thank you, , for your dedication. Keep up the good (and safe) work!
