The Town of Saxis will once again be hosting their annual Children's Easter Event on Sunday, March 29, 2026 starting at 1 pm located at the Saxis Fire Hall. The event is open to all Children 12 and under. There will be 3 Age Categories for the Egg Hunt with a top prize in each age group.

Ages 4 and under
Ages 5 to 8
Ages 9 to 12

Bring a basket or bag to collect your eggs.
Burgers, Hot Dogs, Drinks and Snacks will be provided.

There is no cost for the event so bring your kiddos, enjoy and make memories.

Please remember to dress according to the weather, the Island can get a little chilly.

Did you know the firehouse can sign off on community service hours for high school students?

Students can earn hours by coming to the station on Monday evenings when the company meets and helping out with things like cleaning trucks, organizing equipment, and lending a hand around the station.

We’ll also have opportunities to earn hours by helping out at community events, including our upcoming Easter breakfast.
