Today, I’m celebrating another year of life, but I’d be lying if I said this birthday didn't hit a little differently. This is my very first birthday without my sweet mama, and there’s a quiet ache in my heart that words can barely capture. I miss her dearly—her presence, her warmth, and that unconditional love that always made days like today feel so special.

​Yet, even through the tears, my heart is anchored in overwhelming gratitude. ​God blessed us with 47 incredible years together—47 years of her guidance, her strength, her love, and the endless memories that continue to sustain me. That is a gift I will carry for the rest of my days. Her legacy lives on through every step I take, every obstacle I overcome, and every blessing I embrace.

​I know she would want me to celebrate today—not with sadness, but with joy, purpose, and a grateful heart. So today, I honor the life God has given me, the strength He continues to pour into me, and the beautiful angel watching over me from above.
