Hummm

When we went to help the neighbors pick pears later last week, I discovered that the spruce trees in their wind break were covered in green cones.

It's been a dry summer, so the trees are doing their best to produce extra seeds due to the drought stress.

Since there were so many cones, I started up more soda. For whatever reason, the first batch sat really well in my tummy and left me craving more. I think I'm going to go back this week and get some cones for tincturing, too.
