Our clients loved their kitchen layout, but the worn cabinets, awkward wall partitions, and underutilized desk area were ready for a major refresh. By adding custom rustic hickory and espresso cabinetry, leathered granite countertops, and a long-awaited bay window over the sink, we gave this space the warm, efficient update it deserved.

It’s been a little quiet over here on social media this summer!

While we’ve been hard at work behind the scenes in the studio (and out on the job sites making dream kitchens come to life!), we’ve also been taking time to soak up every single second of summer with our favorite people.

There is nothing quite like summer in the Driftless region—and a few adventures beyond! A quick look at what’s been filling our hearts (and calendars):

Transforming a dated B&B into a warm, modern retreat! Working with T-Squared Designs, we swapped the kitchen and dining areas to put cooking and entertaining right at the heart of the home. We paired the original white oak timber frame with black steel, espresso-stained maple cabinets, concrete-look counters, and custom storage for a high-performance space built for real living.

A kitchen layout doesn't always need to be re-invented for major improvements to happen. This Spring Green kitchen had a shape that worked well for the space- we just made it more functional, beautiful, and brighter. We tweaked the design where it made sense, then added new, high-quality cabinetry, and all new finishes and materials. The result blended seamlessly with the adjacent spaces, and made such a difference in this space!
