Serene Transformations LLC is hiring! 🎨🛠️

Ever wanted to learn painting or carpentry but didn’t know where to start? Maybe you’ve been interested in construction but felt intimidated by an industry where women are underrepresented.

I’d love to help change that!

I’m a self-taught woman painter and carpenter, and I’m looking for someone who’s hardworking, dependable, and excited to learn. Experience is a plus, but I’m willing to train the right person!

✨ Painting & carpentry
✨ Hands-on experience
✨ $16–$25/hour, depending on experience
✨ Room to learn, grow, and build new skills

You don’t need to know it all. You just need to be willing to learn!

📩 Message me to learn more or apply. Let’s build something great together! 💪

✨ Making the most of every inch!

We transformed this nook into a custom built-in cabinet with an extended countertop and lots of extra storage—adding both function and style to a space that wasn’t being used to its fullest potential!

The floating shelves were made from an 8x8 cedar beam, carefully milled down and repurposed into beautiful, chunky floating shelves for open storage. 🤎 Thank you Schmidt Family Farm

I love creating custom solutions that make a home work better for the people who live in it—especially when we can repurpose materials and give them a whole new purpose! Thank you Bob LaFountain and Mary Curtis LaFountain for trusting me to bring your vision to life!

✨ Before ➡️ After ✨

It’s amazing what one simple architectural detail can do for a space. This once plain wall is now full of depth, elegance, and character with custom wainscoting designed specifically for this home.

Every project is built to fit the space and bring each homeowner’s vision to life—no cookie-cutter designs here. The right trim work can completely transform a room without overwhelming it.

Thinking about adding character to your home? Let’s create something that’s uniquely yours. Thank you Allison!

I usually keep my social media focused on my work because I prefer to stay out of drama and simply move forward. However, because my personal life became intertwined with my business, I wanted to address it.

Moving forward, I am the only person representing Serene Transformations. I’m also excited to share that we’re now officially a mother-daughter team!

As for me, I’ll be just fine. My life is full of love from my daughters, family, friends, animals, and the incredible support of my clients as my business continues to grow. Right now, my focus is on healing, growing, and breaking old patterns.

Thank you to everyone who has supported Serene Transformations. Your trust means more than you know, and I’m excited for this next chapter!

✨ Before → After: A Mudroom That Works as Hard as It Looks ✨

This once-empty entryway is now a fully customized mudroom designed to maximize every inch of space.

We removed the closet and built a floor-to-ceiling wardrobe with generous hanging storage for coats, backpacks, and seasonal gear, plus upper cabinets to keep less-used items tucked away. The open cubbies above the hooks make everyday grab-and-go essentials easy to reach, while the four lower cubbies keep baskets organized and clutter off the floor.

To make the space even more functional, we added two butcher block benches for a warm, natural touch, board and batten detailing, and a beautiful wallpaper accent that adds just the right amount of character. Everything is finished in Sherwin-Williams “Let It Rain”—a timeless gray-blue that feels both calming and sophisticated.

A space that was once underutilized is now beautiful, organized, and designed for real life. Thank you Kerri & Steve!!!

Thinking about transforming your mudroom or entryway? We’d love to help bring your vision to life! #518

Before & After

What started as an empty pass-through became a custom built-in designed by Erika at Plum & Crimson and brought to life by us. ✨

This transformation adds character, storage, and architectural detail while creating a beautiful focal point around the fireplace. Custom millwork, crown molding, panel details, and a seamless design make this space feel like it was always meant to be here.
