This Memorial Day, we pause to honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country, and the families who carry that sacrifice every day.

After returning home from a combat tour in Afghanistan in 2012, I’ve never forgotten the sailors and Marines we lost, or the weight their families continue to bear. Their sacrifice is the reason we are able to enjoy the peace, freedom, and comfort of home with our loved ones today.

To our neighbors, friends, and family — may we never take that freedom for granted. Please keep the fallen and their families in your thoughts today.

We remember them with humility, gratitude, and respect. 🇺🇸
