October is the first full month of Autumn, and with the seasonal changes come changes to your daylight hours. Less daylight hours means more time with your lights on, particularly exterior lights, and this means more energy spent unnecessarily lighting up your porch or yard during the night. One way to help mitigate this is by using timers!
Your exterior lights can be hooked up to daylight sensors and configurable timers to ensure they're only on when it's dark, but they can turn off automatically when it's time to hit the hay. This can help reduce the impact of your energy bills, which tend to increase during Autumn and Winter. If this sounds like something you're interested in setting up, give us a call!
