When it comes to storm preparation, thoughtful planning can make all the difference.

We asked our very own award-winning Debra Thomas from the best custom home sales team to share a few considerations every Florida homeowner should keep in mind.

Thinking about building? Our team is happy to talk through storm-ready planning from the very first design conversation.

Florida’s most beautiful months start right here 🌴

Inside the Sand Dollar model at Shellstone, the kitchen, dining area and living room flow naturally toward the lanai and pool. Imagine one connected setting for quiet mornings, relaxed dinners and effortless entertaining.

And as Florida moves into its cooler months, opening the doors extends the living space even farther, welcoming in the fresh air and making the lanai feel like another room of the home.

Winning multiple Seaglass awards this year, the Sand Dollar proves that thoughtful details can make an open-concept home feel both expansive and distinctive.

Tour the Sand Dollar in Shellstone at Waterside in Lakewood Ranch and experience the flow for yourself.

What a night for the Lee Wetherington Homes team! 🏆

We’re proud to bring home four company awards from the 2026 Celebration of Excellence: Excellence in Interior Finishes, Best Video, Best Logo, and the Philanthropic Impact Award.

These wins belong to everyone who helps us create exceptional homes, care for our homeowners, and give back to our community. A special shout-out to Tracy for her exceptional work on the interior finishes honors!

Please join us in congratulating Sue Clear on her well-deserved Unsung Hero Award.

Alyson and Debra’s recognition follows a remarkable 2025, with 19 closings totaling $43.94 million and 8 closings totaling $20.34 million, respectively, measured at initial closing.

We also want to celebrate three nominees who make us proud every day:
Karol Sawa — Field Leadership nominee, recognized for his commitment to our homeowners and his work improving systems and processes.
Haggan Hilgendorf — Shining Star nominee, already making an impression through his initiative and ownership in less than a year.
Matt White — Innovation & Excellence nominee, celebrating 30 years of creative thinking and outstanding work.

We’re grateful to have each of you on this team.

Thank you to everyone who celebrated with us, near and far. And swipe to the end for CEO David Hunihan’s closing performance: a grateful heart, happy feet, and shoes that understood the assignment.
