Just wrapped up this very large remodel with the last scope of work being Shiplap Synergy exterior trim.

Colonial colored Synergy Shiplap installations at all the exterior roof overhangs along with ALL other exterior porch areas you can think of!
All porches shown here are surrounding the new pool installed at the rear of the house. The front foyer came out good too, as well as the Chimney overhang(not shown…)
This Synergy product is a nice product to work with and looks good when installed correct. Pre stained, clear coated and milled for installations……….

Great job B2B crew and all installations came out great in my opinion!!!!!

No issues. About 80 away, at an angular distance.

Within 1/8 of an inch on all sides. For real.
I am very happy the way this project came out.
Nothing damaged, no one was hurt and everything went to plan……

3rd story roof applications……..
Removal of existing roof and installation of new roof to meet current building code.

Here’s the catch,

You can’t get the material up to the area where the new roof is going due to the layout of this existing house,
you can’t damage any of the structure because the house is being sold during/after this process
and
you have a deadline with a very small window of time that cannot be adjusted or changed.

So what are you going to do in that scenario?

Answer,
Prebuild the whole new roof on the ground and then fly it up with a crane.

When it comes to exterior trim, every detail matters during the framing process. As a custom carpenter,
You always have to think like chess. 3 to 4 moves ahead.

Yes, the bulk of the exterior work and rough framing has been completed but now we get to come back and show our creative side.

For this client,  the desired look was chosen to be James Hardie siding accents at the bump out areas, along with the second story all the way around.
To complement the Hardie siding,
The client and homeowner also chose to have this structure stand out by using custom exterior composite trim that was pre-fabricated and sent for us to install by Hardy Boyz from South Florida.

Long-term friends of mine. They also deliver a very durable fantastic product.

We are blessed for opportunities like this where we get to come back and perform the installation process for exterior trim no matter what the detail…..

Love what I do. You have to……

Especially after being told by a surgeon that my life will never be the same after a broken neck three years ago, followed up with a titanium disc fusion surgery……..

So yeah, back at it, and I love what I do. I have surrounded myself with good people and followed the path that God has created for me, my family and friends. 

It’s a wild testimony for those that know about my fall and journey through that stage of my life.

Ceiling details are usually focal points of luxury home. We have stuck to our method of using control lines to layout the ceiling details prior to framing. The results always speak for themselves and the finish product always stays true.

Putting the finishing touches on the entry of this project was very satisfying.
Every angle, reveal and dimension came out as close to perfect as I could have asked throughout installations.
This was due to a lot of pre prep planning, leading up to this satisfying point.

Hats off to the guys in the crew that played a part in helping craft this idea/design for an Awsome builder, architect and homeowner.
Great job!
They all love it!

The next stage during exterior trim will be to wrap this center piece entry in a hardwood material (which is us too 😎…)! + other a lot of exterior accents.

(Materials used,
2x6 tongue and groove cypress over 4x6 conventional pt rafters on 16” LVL beams, then wrapped in hardwood =
I LOVE MY JOB!!!
