Epic Rockworks

Epic Rockworks Sarasota's only illuminated rockscape builder. Hand-carved rock walls, waterfall grottos & LED features β€” built for homes that don't settle for ordinary.

This is what Tuttle Avenue looked like on Paint Day.

Four artists. Four chapters. One wall. And Sarasota showed up to watch every brushstroke happen live.

What started as a code violation on a banner became one of the most unexpected community moments this city has seen this year. Tents up. Judges present. Crowds stopping on the road. Artists painting side by side on a 300-foot wall while the whole neighborhood watched.

This is Epic Rockworks. And this is just one chapter of what is still being built.

When this wall started, it was a 300-foot blank surface and a code violation.

Today it has four murals painted by four Sarasota artists, judged by three of the most respected voices in the local art community, sponsored by a local business that believed in it from day one, and voted on by hundreds of people who followed every chapter of this story from the beginning.

None of that happens without you.

To every person who liked a post, shared a reel, dropped ARTIST in the comments, cast a vote, showed up on Tuttle Avenue on a Saturday morning to watch β€” thank you. You turned a construction wall into something this city is going to remember.

To our artists β€” Ginger, Patricia, Marisa, and Serena β€” you showed up with your talent, your time, and your vision. This wall is better because of you.

To our judges β€” Christina Baril, Robin Holl, and Clifford McDonald β€” your credibility and expertise made this contest mean something real.

To KevCo Inc. β€” thank you for sponsoring Paint Day and making it possible.

A special thank you to Chelsea Chavez and the team at Hustle & Bustle Co. for handling the setup and making sure Paint Day ran smoothly from start to finish. None of the logistics happen without you.

And to everyone who has followed this page since the beginning β€” the rock wall is still going up. The LED lighting is still ahead. The waterfall and grotto are still coming.

The best part of Epic Rockworks has not happened yet. Stay with us. πŸͺ¨

This contest started with a code violation on a banner. It became a community art event that brought Sarasota artists, voters, sponsors, and judges together around one wall on Tuttle Avenue. That is something nobody planned β€” and something nobody will forget.

The murals are up. The rock wall continues behind them. And Epic Rockworks is just getting started.

Yesterday Tuttle Avenue was not just a road. It was a canvas.

Four artists showed up. Four chapters came to life. And Sarasota came out to watch it happen in real time β€” exactly the way this whole thing was meant to go.

What started as a code violation on a banner turned into one of the most talked about community art events this city has seen. Tents up. Brushes moving. A 300-foot wall being transformed panel by panel while people stopped their cars to watch.

This is what happens when a city believes in something.

Thank you to every artist who submitted. Every person who voted. Every spectator who showed up. And every single person who shared this page from the beginning.

The murals are up. The rock wall continues behind them. And the best part of this build is still ahead.

We will be posting full Paint Day coverage this week β€” behind the scenes footage, artist moments, and the finished panels up close. And the winner announcement is coming very soon.

Follow this page and stay close. You do not want to miss what comes next. πŸ‘‡
