Cold showers and rusty water might be obvious signs of water heater trouble, but water around the base of the tank is one homeowners should never overlook. 💧

A small leak can come from a valve or connection, but it can also be a sign that the tank itself is beginning to fail. And unfortunately, a leaking tank doesn’t repair itself—the problem typically gets worse with time.

Keep an eye out for:
💧 Water pooling around the tank
🚿 Hot water running out faster than usual
🟤 Rusty or discolored hot water
🌡️ Water that won’t stay consistently hot
🔊 Popping, rumbling, or other unusual sounds

Catching the warning signs early can give you time to address the problem before you’re dealing with no hot water—or water damage around your home.

For the right pipe, trenchless pipe lining can repair the line from the inside with little to no digging—helping protect your landscaping, driveway, and property while minimizing the disruption of traditional excavation.

The key is knowing whether your pipe is a good candidate. A camera inspection allows us to see what’s actually happening inside the line and determine whether pipe lining is the right solution.

It may still feel like summer in Sarasota, but we know what’s coming… 😎🌴

Before long, our seasonal neighbors will start trading cooler temperatures up north for flip-flops, sunshine, palm trees, and another winter in paradise. ☀️

If your Florida home has been sitting quiet for a few months, add a quick plumbing check to the unpacking list when you get back:

💧 Check under sinks and around fixtures for leaks
🚿 Run the faucets & showers for a few minutes
🚽 Give the toilets a flush and make sure everything is working properly
🔥 Take a peek around the water heater for leaks or corrosion
