Same backyard as our last post, but a whole new atmosphere. 🔥🌅

As the sun sets, this custom retreat takes on a new personality. Vibrant LED lighting transforms the water, fire-and-water features bring the drama, and a spectacular Florida sunset provides the perfect backdrop.

From the glowing spa to the illuminated loungers and cascading waterfalls, we designed every detail to make this outdoor space just as inviting after dark.

Because the best backyards don't call it a day when the sun goes down.

A little color, a little movement, and a whole lot of personality.

This custom backyard retreat brings together rich Antique Onyx finishes, vibrant Aqua Blue mini tile, and natural stone for a look that's equal parts tropical and timeless.

From the raised spa and cascading fire-and-water bowls to the built-in loungers, bubbling water features, and lush landscaping, every detail adds another layer to the experience.

And that brilliant blue tile? It's the perfect finishing touch, bringing color, texture, and just the right amount of drama to this Florida oasis.

Beautiful from every angle. Built to be enjoyed every day.

Happy . 🏡

There's something to be said for a neighborhood where people actually want to be outside. Where the yards are cared for, the backyards are lived in, and the whole street just feels like somewhere worth coming home to.

We like to think the pools we build play a small part in that. When a backyard becomes the place everyone gathers, the whole neighborhood feels a little better.

First day of fall, Florida edition. 🍂🌴

Okay, we love us some fall. But with views like these and backyards like those… how do we pick?

Good news: in Florida, we really don’t have to.

Here’s to cooler evenings, more time outside, and plenty more days spent poolside. Because around here, pool season doesn’t really have an off-season.

Happy first day of fall from Family Pools.

Where the pool ends and the water begins...no one knows. 🌊

is one of those projects that proves you don't always need more. No raised spa. No elaborate water features. No distractions. Just a geometric infinity edge on Bird Key that dissolves into Sarasota Bay at sunset, a mirror-like surface that reflects the sky back at you, and a design philosophy built entirely around getting out of the view's way.

Aquabella Brittania tile catches the light differently at every hour. Coralina Bone porcelain runs the deck in an offset pattern. The coping wraps flush to the edge — no interruption, no break in the line. And when the sun goes down and the LED lighting comes up, the tile wall glows against the waterfront in a way that stops you in your tracks every single time.

Built right into the architecture. 🌴

For this Anna Maria Island home, the pool wasn’t treated as something separate from the house. The design works with the home’s columns, covered outdoor living areas, and clean coastal architecture to make the water feel like part of the structure itself.

A generous sun shelf, integrated spa, crisp tilework, and surrounding turf keep the space clean and modern, while leaving plenty of room for lounging, entertaining, and even a little backyard competition.

Proof that you don’t need an enormous backyard to create an outdoor space that does a little bit of everything!

A little appreciation for the crew behind the pools. 👏

Florida heat, long days, heavy equipment, and plenty of hard work go into every backyard we bring to life. These guys show up and give it their all, putting their skill, grit, and attention to detail into the work you don’t always see in the finished photos.

We’re incredibly grateful for the talent, tenacity, and dedication of our team in the field. Beautiful pools don’t just happen. They’re built by great people who take pride in doing the job right.

Here’s to the crew making those backyard dreams a reality, one very hot Florida day at a time. ☀️

Great pools are important. Great people make all the difference.

We love hearing feedback like this about our team, and we couldn’t agree more. Communication, follow-through, and making sure our clients never feel left in the dark are a huge part of the Family Pools experience.

Tom, thank you for always going the extra mile, finding a way to make things happen, and taking such great care of our customers. We’re pretty lucky to have you!

And to our clients who take the time to recognize our team by name (we're looking at you today, Brianna!), thank you. It means more than you know.
