97 LF of 14” steel casing welded in the ground and stuffed with 107 LF of 6” force main, 10’ deep across the roadway underneath high-pressure gas, two fiber optic lines, and an existing storm line — all completed in one day, safe and sound.

Couldn’t be more proud of our guys. They work hard, take pride in what they do, and get the job done. We couldn’t do any of this without them. 💪🏼🇺🇸

Today we started the fire and domestic water on a commercial project in Sarasota. We had to bend underneath this 36" storm line and of course, being in Florida close to the water, the ground got wet. Had to act fast and add rock to stabilize the storm and make the job happen. No problem for S2 we run into all kinds of different situations in the field and always come up with a solution.

Our guys tackled a 30-inch ductile iron reclaimed water main repair more than 12 feet deep, positioned between a canal and a pond.

This repair took careful coordination with the County to shut down the main line and get our crew safely in position to make the necessary, our team worked around the clock to get the main back in operation the same day.

Jobs like this take experience, teamwork, and a crew willing to do what it takes to get it done.

Our crew installed a stormwater retention system built with all 30” perforated ADS pipe.

This underground system is designed to collect and temporarily store stormwater runoff, allowing the water to slowly drain through the perforated pipe and surrounding stone. This helps manage heavy rainfall, reduce surface flooding, and control the amount of water leaving the site at one time.

Big pipe, big system, and another job getting done underground! 👷‍♂️

Our crew knocked out an 8” x 4” reclaimed water tap, 10” x 6” force main tap, and a diversion on the 8” reclaimed line to provide the clearance needed for the force main to pass underneath.

This one took a lot of coordination — road closure, multiple people involved, and a tight deadline — but our guys stepped up and got it done.

Proud of this crew and the hard work they continue to put in to get the job done safely and efficiently. 👏

Projects like this take the right equipment, proper planning, and a crew that knows underground utilities. From excavation and dewatering to setting the structure and completing the installation, the S2 Services crew handled it from the ground down.
