What a night! The 2026 NPPOA "Back the Blue" Gala was an absolute success!

SonShine Roofing was honored to once again sponsor the North Port Police Officer's Association, Inc. Our owners, Nathan Borntreger and Mina Bo, attended the Gala and had a wonderful time celebrating with everyone who came out to support our local officers and their families.

Thank you to the NPPOA board and everyone who helped put together such a special evening. And to the officers who serve North Port and the families who stand beside them, thank you for all you do!

And remember, since 1987, we've got you covered!

Many homeowners believe their roof is in excellent condition simply because they don't see any signs of trouble.

But what if there's damage hiding where you can't see it?

Back in 2013 Amos Borntreger, founder of SonShine Roofing shared a simple but powerful reminder.

Without checking, how would you know?

More than a decade later, his message remains just as important.

A roof inspection can reveal hidden problems before they become costly repairs.

Fall in Florida looks little different!🌴

We may not have the colorful autumn leaves everywhere, but we sure have plenty of fallen palm fronds, pine needles, and pine cones! And believe it or not, some Florida homes even have chimneys! 🏠

No matter what fall looks like in the Sunshine State, one thing remains the same:
Taking care of your roof is important year -round!

A little preventative maintenance today can help avoid costly repairs tomorrow.

Since 1987 we've got you covered.

Help us wish wish Jeremy a very Happy Birthday! 🎂

Before joining the SonShine Roofing family, Jeremy spent his career serving his community as a police officer and detective. After retiring from law enforcement, he traded in the badge for roofing and came to work alongside with his younger brother, Nathan.

We're thankful to have his experience, dedication, and hard work as part of our team.

Happy Birthday, Jeremy!
We hope you have an amazing day! 🎊🎈🎉🎂

Hello, October! 🍂🍁
A new month, a fresh start, and another opportunity to be thankful for the days ahead.

October is also Breast Cancer Awareness Month. We stand with those fighting, celebrate the survivors, and remember those we've lost.🩷

Here's to a month filled with hope, strength, positivity, and plenty of SonShine.

Happy October from all of us at SonShine Roofing.
