50,000 LBS. 20 FEET LONG. 6 FEET THICK.

This is what our JP Services Concrete Division was built for.

Our team tackled this massive 50,000-lb sign base along I-75, using wire sawing to make the cuts necessary to get this monster separated, rigged, and ready for removal.

This isn’t your everyday concrete cutting job. It takes specialized equipment, experienced operators, proper planning, and a crew that knows exactly what they’re doing.

From precision cutting and core drilling to heavy concrete demolition and removal, our Concrete Division has the equipment and capabilities to handle the jobs that require a little more muscle.

Preserving a Piece of Boca Grande History

This is definitely not your typical demolition project!

Our JP Services of Sarasota team has begun carefully disassembling portions of the historic Austin Bass House on Palm Avenue in Boca Grande. This approximately 86-year-old structure is documented as part of the Downtown Boca Grande Historic District and is being prepared to be elevated as part of its rehabilitation.

Piece by piece, our crew is carefully removing the siding, stacking it, and binding it in sections so it can be preserved and reused. This careful work is being done so the house can be elevated while preserving as much of its historic character as possible.

And its next chapter is a special one.

This historic cottage is being rehabilitated as the future home of the Boca Grande Preschool.

There’s something pretty incredible about taking an old building apart with the same care and craftsmanship it took to put it together knowing that our work is helping preserve a piece of Boca Grande history for generations to come.

We don’t only demo. We preserve history.

Happy National Sons Day!

Here at JP Services of Sarasota, we are honored and privileged to have both of our sons working alongside us and being an important part of our company.

It’s Friday and our guys are putting in the work at the Manatee County Jail!

Working in a very tight space, the crew is cutting (42) openings through 18-gauge steel and concrete for the HVAC system. Definitely not the easiest working conditions, but they’re getting it done and I know they’re glad it’s Friday!

Another day of showing what JP Services of Sarasota can handle from demolition and concrete cutting to framing, drywall, and site work.

Tight spaces. Tough work. JP gets it done. Happy Friday!

JP Services Framing Division is at it again!

Our framing crew is proud to be a part of the Sunset Deck Expansion at The Bay Sarasota, helping extend this fan-favorite spot to nearly twice its current length and create even more space to enjoy those incredible Sarasota sunsets.

One of the coolest parts of this project is the decking material Ipe, a beautiful, extremely dense exterior hardwood known for its durability and ability to stand up to Florida’s outdoor environment.

There’s a lot that goes into a project like this, and we’re excited to have our framing division playing a part in bringing the new Sunset Deck to life.

JP Services’ concrete and machine operators have been hard at work at 75th & 53rd!

Our crews are demoing out the existing storm boxes to make way for new drainage pipes for the new developments. This includes removing the tops of the existing boxes so the new drainage lines can be installed underneath the roadway.

From concrete cutting and demolition  work to machine operating, framing, and drywall, our crews continue to tackle a wide range of work and keep these projects moving forward.
