Massive Ipe wood restoration. Ipe wood is not a single wood species, it actually encompasses around 30 different biological species withing what is known as the Handroanthus genus. Another really cool fact about ipe wood contains silica dust in its core. Which makes this wood extremely hard. However the downside of this is that it needs yearly upkeep. The suns rays will always dull the wood. The sheer beauty of these species of trees make the upkeep worth it.

Olympic Premiere Painting had the great pleasure of coming back to this beautiful home I painted last summer to restore their 3 decks. We matched the railings to the house and used the Benjamin Moore Hidden valley Semi-transparent stain on the deck boards. Swipe through the pictures to see the deck. Going to have to make a video of this house. Very proud of this one.

What a transformation!!! Alot of surface prep went into this one. Alot of cleaning. Also here at O.P.P we used the Benjamin Moore Command, specifically a waterborne acrylic urethane enamel.

We will be back to this location in August to paint the main house.

Doesn't matter the project size here at Olympic Premiere Painting we put love and craftsmanship into every job!

Another exterior project wrapped up last week- full prep, power washing, scrapping, sanding, and two coats Benjamin Moore Woodlux. Fresh, sharp, and ready for the Adirondack weather.

As Memorial Day arrives, Olympic Premiere Painting pauses to honor the military men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice is the reason we get to live, work, and build our lives in freedom.
