We are a “budding” young landscape company in Sonoma County, California looking for a skilled Landscape Foreperson with experience building landscapes to add to our growing business. We strive to be a one-stop-shop for our clients, offering design, build and maintenance services. We focus on both residential and commercial projects and are looking to hire right away as we have upcoming projects. As such, we ask that you be already familiar with Landscape Foreperson responsibilities as well as landscape and hardscape installation. This position reports directly to the owner of the company and works closely with office and field staff to ensure projects are completed in a professional and timely manner with the highest standards of quality and excellence.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Works in the field to complete landscape installation projects large and small
•Manages and supervises landscape crew members on job sites and at the shop/yard.
•Ensures all installation work is preformed in accordance with industry and company standards.
•Regularly interacts with clients to help ensure client satisfaction and maintain good relationships.
•Trains new crew members in the best practices of landscape installation to company standards.
•Keeps track of job progress and stays in regular communication with the office
•Accurately keeps track of hours worked
•Works closely with Owner and Office Admin to set production goals and works to meet those goals.
•Completes daily reports/paperwork each day.
MUST HAVES:
• Clean DMV report of driving record.
• Very organized and detail oriented.
• Excellent communication skills - Must speak English, bilingual is helpful but not required. You will be required to communicate clearly and effectively with clients, coworkers and management. You must be honest in all things related to the company.
• Dependable/Reliable - We count on you being here everyday, on time. *NO CALL, NO SHOW = NO JOB!*
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and run various pieces of equipment/machinery.
• Ability to work OUTSIDE in various weather conditions (heat, cold, wet, etc.)
• Knowledge in building decks, fences, irrigation systems, paving, and planting
• Ability to read construction plans
• Ability to work completely unsupervised at times and still remain motivated and productive
• Professionalism and integrity.
COMPENSATION:
• $20.00 per hour
