This is a unique opportunity for college students age 18 and up who are interested in law enforcement, public service, or criminal justice to gain hands-on experience in a professional police environment.

As a Student Intern, you’ll work alongside dedicated SRPD staff, supporting various divisions such as investigations, traffic, community engagement, and records. Interns gain valuable insight into police operations, develop workplace skills, and build connections that can support future careers in public safety or related fields.

📰🗞️🚒 The Santa Rosa Fire Department has officially declared the end of the 2025 wildfire season locally. The decision comes following beneficial rain over the last several days locally in Santa Rosa, on top of late summer and early fall showers. The rainfall has reduced fire risks significantly. This declaration is used to suspend the City’s W**d Abatement Ordinance requirements and allows for the issuance of pile burning permits in the coming weeks. Despite the declaration, residents are still encouraged to remain wildfire ready.
