🌳 Honoring Our Community Roots Recipient: Fred Weissel 🇺🇸

This year, Ultimate Tree Service had the privilege of giving back to someone who has spent his entire life serving others.

Fred Weissel was drafted into the U.S. Army after high school in 1966 and served in Vietnam until 1970. Throughout his military service and long after returning home, Fred dedicated himself to helping others—whether volunteering in his community, sharing his contractor skills with neighbors at no cost, or supporting fellow veterans through the VA Clinic and Veterans AA.

This year, Fred also celebrated an incredible milestone: 20 years of sobriety.

When we read his nomination, we knew Fred represented exactly what the Community Roots Program is all about—selfless service, resilience, and a lifetime of giving back.

It was an honor for our crew to provide complimentary tree care for Fred and Shannah's home. While this project was our way of saying thank you, we know it can never fully express our appreciation for everything Fred has done for our community and our country.

Thank you, Fred and Shannah, for allowing us to be a small part of your story. ❤️

And thank you to everyone who submitted nominations and supported our first Community Roots Program. We can't wait to continue recognizing local heroes in the years ahead.
