Base compacted. Forms set for the planter footings. Concrete down and left to cure. Once the forms come off, the block starts going up, course by course.

This whole corner is about to look completely different 👀

The spa is being integrated into a custom Trex structure with built-in steps, a bench, angled backrest, Taj Mahal countertop and lighting underneath.

Once it’s finished, it should feel less like a spa sitting on the deck and more like one seamless built-in outdoor space.

Right now it's a lawn with lines sprayed on it. In a few months it's a pool, a spa, and an outdoor kitchen. New build starting. We'll take you through the whole thing.

This spa sits on top of the deck. By the time we're done, it won't look like it. Done right, the eye reads one continuous surface instead of a spa that got dropped in and built around.

Another day at our project at Rancho Palos Verdes. Things are coming along meticilously Progress days don't get the highlight reel, but they're the ones that decide how the finish turns out. More coming as this one moves toward the finish.

The concrete is done and primed on this Rancho Palos Verdes project, and the next phase is already planned out.

The new concrete wall in this Rancho Palos Verdes backyard is poured, cured, and complete and sets the stage for the rest of this remodel.

In Rancho Palos Verdes, the trenches for a new wall are cut and the rebar is set, tied and spaced to hold everything the concrete will carry. It's the part of a project nobody really sees once it's finished, but it's what makes the wall last.

Next up: the pour.
