TRANQUILITY + | THE STORY CONTINUES

The story of Tranquility didn't end with the main residence.

Designed as an extension of the original vision, Tranquility + carries the architectural language of the main home into a Casita and Pool House created for an entirely different rhythm of living.

Facing the Jemez Mountains and bordering 68,000 acres of unobstructed land, the addition echoes the home's Mid-Century Modern influence through clean rectilinear lines, sloping roof forms, steel, stone, stucco and expansive glass.

At its heart is outdoor living.

Deep portals stretch the length of the structure, opening to a 42-foot lap pool, 8' x 8' soaking hot tub, outdoor chef's kitchen with grill, stovetop and pizza oven, and intimate gathering spaces centered around a custom circular stone firepit.

Inside, 1,380 heated square feet provide a great room and kitchen, guest suite, office, multi-use bath, laundry and generous storage—creating a space equally suited to quiet retreat or effortless entertaining.

TRANQUILITY | FROM THE INSIDE OUT

Inside Tranquility, the same clarity that defines the architecture continues through every material, detail and transition.

Designed in a Mid-Century Modern vernacular where form follows function, the interiors balance strong architectural geometry with the warmth of natural materials. Three sloping roof planes continue seamlessly from exterior to interior, finished in 3" tongue-and-groove Alaskan Yellow Cedar and creating a striking sense of continuity throughout the home.

Below, highly polished concrete micro-slab floors provide a quiet counterpoint, reflecting natural light drawn through expansive walls of glass.

Steel, stone, wood and glass come together with precision, yet the experience is anything but rigid. Open spaces flow naturally from one to another, while carefully framed views continually return the eye to the surrounding landscape.

Even the arrival makes a statement: a massive 600-pound cold-rolled plate steel entry door, finished with an oversized patinaed brass handle, opens into a home designed around serenity, connection and effortless living.

Some homes are designed for their setting. Others seem to belong to it.

Set against 68,000 acres of unobstructed land in Las Campanas, Tranquility was conceived around an extraordinary relationship between architecture, landscape and the expansive New Mexico horizon.

Clean rectilinear forms, natural stone, steel and walls of glass create a contemporary composition that settles quietly into the high desert. Beyond the architecture, the experience is shaped by what surrounds it—the changing light, distant mountains and those unmistakable Santa Fe skies.

And what you see here is only part of the story.

Over the coming week, we'll revisit Tranquility, explore the addition that expanded this remarkable property, and next Friday, experience it all in motion.

VANTAGE | AFTER DARK

As daylight fades across Las Campanas, Vantage reveals another side of its architecture.

Warm light traces the home’s strong horizontal lines, illuminates the landscape, and draws the living spaces outward beneath expansive portals. From the covered terrace and outdoor kitchen to the firepit tucked into the hillside, each space was designed around a connection to the surrounding high-desert landscape.

At blue hour, glass, steel, stucco and warm wood take on new depth while the distant Jemez Mountains become the backdrop.

This is Vantage after dark — where architecture gives way to atmosphere, and the view becomes part of the experience.

There is always more to discover.

Set within the high-desert landscape of Las Campanas, **Vantage** is a study in clean lines, expansive light and the quiet relationship between architecture and place.

From its low, horizontal profile and deep roof planes to walls of glass that frame the surrounding landscape, the home feels both distinctly contemporary and deeply connected to Santa Fe.

Inside, a restrained palette allows the architecture and craftsmanship to take focus. Custom cabinetry, integrated details, stone, steel and glass create spaces that feel sophisticated without feeling overstated. Throughout the home, carefully framed views continually draw the landscape back into the experience.

And as daylight fades, Vantage transforms.

Warm interior light meets the blue of the New Mexico evening, revealing another side of the architecture—one where transparency, material and landscape come together.

For the past five weeks, we've shared the story behind Resplendence, though we’re thinking about something we didn’t quite expect.

Again and again, visitors have told us how this home made them feel.
