Envision Design Consult • Design • Create But not everyone knows that I've been a designer most of my life. Then I earned and saved and bought my own BMX bike.

Many people know me, Six O'Nine, as the proprietor of Deviant, the pioneering manufacturer of Liquid Latex "body paints" (Facebook.com/DeviantLatex). That includes: graphic artist, creator, inventor, builder, tinkerer, marketing, consulting, body painting, interior design & construction, renovation, repair, and a bunch more. I was in the engraving and sign business for almost 20 years, and have be

en self employed since I was 17. At age 8, other kids want bikes and ponies and rocket ships for their birthday... I wanted a drafting table. I got it and used it to do things like draw my own typestyles/fonts from scratch on paper (WAY before computers). At age 13 I designed and constructed my first residential landscape and redwood deck... entirely on my own. In 1989 I co-opened Los Gatos Engraving and in 1996 that became Envision Design, as I shifted out of the engraving business and into new focuses, including Deviant Liquid Latex. Unfortunately, a catastrophic hard drive failure caused loss of most of my best graphic work, some dating back to the beginning of my first PC computers. But there are still a few mediocre samples here, and more to come with time. If you have work you'd like done, I take jobs of any size and I usually under charge and consider barter. Jus' sayin'...

When I needed to turn some oak to create a 16" conical replacement piece for a handmade chair I was restoring, but didn't have a wood lathe in my arsenal of tools (yet), I just MADE one using the things I had on hand. And it worked brilliantly. Surprisingly. :-)

I don't actually install floors this quickly... because I take the time to do it well and correctly.
