Before & After: Full Exterior Repaint 🏡✨
This one needed real attention before paint ever touched the surface. The siding and trim were dealing with chalky, weathered surfaces — the kind of condition a lot of homeowners don't realize is a problem until their paint job fails early.
When you're dealing with chalking siding, you can't just roll paint over it and call it a day. We washed the entire exterior with a pressure washer to break down the chalky residue, then tested for remaining chalk before priming. Skipping this step is the #1 reason exterior paint jobs peel and fail within a year or two — the new paint just bonds to loose, powdery chalk instead of the actual surface.
Our process on this one:
🔹 Pressure wash to remove chalk, dirt, and mildew
🔹 Scrape and sand all failing/peeling areas down to sound substrate
🔹 Caulk every seam and joint on the siding for a clean, water-tight finish
🔹 Spot prime bare wood and stained areas
🔹 Two coats of premium exterior paint for lasting durability and rich color
The transformation from that faded tan to this deep, modern green is dramatic — but the real value is underneath the finish. Proper prep is what makes a paint job last 10+ years instead of 2-3.
