🌱 NEW SPROUT ALERT: DON BENITO IS IN HIS PROVIDER ERA 🫘

Okay. This one is BIG.

I have tried growing habichuelas before.

And failed.

Every. Single. Time. 😂

They would sprout. They would grow. They would give me hope. And not one bean ever made it to the finish line.

Until Don Benito.

I went to headquarters tonight and almost missed them completely—tiny green pods growing where his little flowers used to be.

Actual. Habichuelas.

For the first time ever, I grew beans. 😭🫘

And there’s something especially perfect about it being Don Benito—the abuelo of the Moonwell—quietly out there producing the first little harvest while I wasn’t even paying attention.

Some sprouts announce themselves loudly.

Apparently Don Benito just gets to work. 🌱

Welcome to the archives, little beans.

🌙 Every plant has a story.
And this one just became a family legacy.

CHAPTER FOUR — The Plant That Changed Everything 🌿

I didn’t know I was buying the beginning of anything.

I was just looking for something I could keep alive.

Before I bought her, I actually tried to find a pothos cutting from someone else. I asked around. Nobody had one. Then I found this little $5 plant and almost left her behind.

I’m really glad I didn’t.

Because somewhere between learning how to care for her, watching her fill her pot, and eventually separating her into four plants, something changed in me too.

I became curious.

One plant became another. Then another. I started learning their names, noticing new leaves, celebrating roots, experimenting, collecting, sharing.

And eventually, without realizing it, I was building the little world that would become Plant Goblin.

She wasn’t the biggest plant. She wasn’t rare. She wasn’t expensive.

She was just the one that opened the door. 🌿

Me dio curiosidad.

🌱 NEW SPROUT: PINKY

Something new is unfolding in the Moonwell.

Pinky has sent up her biggest leaf yet—and she is not being subtle about it. Still tightly curled, her colors remain a mystery for now.

Will she give us green? Pink? A little bit of both? 👀

The archives are watching. 🌙

🌱 NEW SPROUT: PINKY

¿Rosado? ¿Un poquito de los dos? 👀

Los archivos están observando. 🌙

Somewhere along the way, Plant Goblin stopped being just an idea in my head.

Piece by piece, the Moonwell is becoming a real place — filled with plants, stories, experiments, rescued things, and a whole lot of figuring-it-out-as-I-go.

And every once in a while, I look up and realize:
Wait… I’m actually building this. 🌿🌙
