There has been a lot of conversation lately about how hot Florida feels, so I got curious and decided to look at the actual numbers instead of the headlines or opinions.

And the data is pretty interesting.

Yes, Florida has warmed over the last 30 years. That part is real.

Comparing January through July of 1997 with the same period in 2026, Florida’s statewide average temperature increased from about 71.26°F to 71.95°F.

That is an increase of about **0.69°F**, or roughly **1%**.

But there is another side to the story.

The hottest January through July period during these 30 years was actually **2023**, at 73.25°F. So far, 2026 is about **1.3°F cooler than 2023** and only about **0.13°F warmer than 2025**.

Then I looked at what people are really feeling right now, the daytime summer heat.

Orlando’s hottest temperature so far this summer was **99°F on July 25**.

That sounds extreme, and it absolutely is hot.

But that 99°F temperature **tied the record for that exact date, a record originally set in 1962**.

June 27 also reached 97°F and tied a record originally set in 1962.

So I think both things can be true at the same time.

🌡️ Florida has gotten warmer over the last several decades.

☀️ We are having a very warm summer.

📊 But temperatures like the ones we are experiencing today are not temperatures Florida has never experienced before.

Another interesting part of the data is that some of the recent warming is showing up in **warmer nighttime temperatures**, meaning it does not cool down as much overnight. That can make a summer feel especially relentless even when the afternoon high itself is not unprecedented.

This isn’t meant to argue with anybody or prove a political point. I simply wanted to know what the actual temperature records showed.

The answer seems to be:

**Real warming? Yes.**

**The hottest Florida has ever been? Not quite.**

Now, here is the part I can actually help you with.

If your air conditioner is struggling to keep up with Florida summers, an older inefficient system can cost you a lot more than that 0.69°F difference ever will. A properly sized, high efficiency AC system can make your home more comfortable while reducing how much electricity you use to cool it.

And while we cannot control what the power companies charge, we can absolutely work on controlling how much power your home needs from them.

Rates seem to have a habit of going up. If you are tired of watching your electric bill climb year after year, there are ways to start offsetting it, reducing it, and in some cases dramatically reducing your dependence on the utility altogether.

That is what we do.

We can help with:

☀️ Solar electric systems
🔋 Battery backup and energy storage
❄️ High efficiency air conditioning
🏊 Solar pool heating
⚡ Energy efficiency upgrades and other ways to reduce household energy use

Whether your goal is simply to make the house cooler, lower the power bill, add backup power for outages, heat the pool without another big monthly expense, or build a home that uses a whole lot less utility power, we can help put the pieces together.

If you want to know what makes sense for your home, message me or contact **AllSolar Energy**.

No pressure. We can look at what you have, what you are spending, and where the biggest opportunities are.

**The weather may be getting warmer. Your electric bill does not have to keep climbing with it.**

Florida just led the country in new home solar. Permits are up 4x. Everyone else is shrinking. We're growing.

Good news, right? Mostly.

Here's what we see from the service side. When a market gets hot, sales companies show up from out of state. They sell hard, install fast, and move on. Five years later the phone number is disconnected and the homeowner is calling us.

We know because fixing those systems is half our business.

So if you're getting solar quotes right now, ask one question. Who services this system in year 6? If the answer is a shrug, keep shopping.

And if your installer already disappeared, that's what we do. AllSolar Energy. We service what others sell after they abandon you and the system.

I got tired of paying for software that did not understand my business.

We run 90 service jobs a week. Repairs, R&Rs, orphaned systems, pool heat, hot water, batteries. Every CRM I looked at was built by a programmer who has never been on a roof in July.

So we built our own.

SolarProjeX. Techs get their jobs, their photo requirements, and their pay sheets on their phone. Customers get an automatic text with a real arrival window. Nobody leaves a job without photos, notes, and payment collected. And the system will not let you schedule a job when the parts are still sitting on a truck somewhere.

That last one came from watching three trucks roll out on a Tuesday and all three call back saying they did not have the equipment.

We have been running our whole company on it since July. Now other solar companies are asking for it.

Watch the walkthrough. Then start a free 7 day trial. No credit card.
