From overgrown to open trail 🌲

This one was a little different for us! Trail building isn't our typical project, but when one of our return clients reached out, we were happy to jump in. We love helping out the folks who keep coming back to us, whatever the job looks like.

Our crew handled it start to finish: we cleared out the brush, laid down a fresh wood chips, and built steps to make the grade easy and safe to walk. Now it's a natural, low-maintenance trail the community can enjoy every day. 🥾

Another selective clearing project wrapped up in the West Linn / Lake Oswego area! 🌲 Our crew targeted invasive Himalayan blackberry, downed wood, and accessible stumps — while carefully preserving the native ferns and understory vegetation that keep these wooded areas healthy and beautiful.

From moto-whoops to smooth sailing 🛣️

Yesterday one of our crews started a grass fire while mowing a field. We never want something like this to happen — but when it does, we take pride in being ready for it.
Our team acted fast, deploying the water resources we bring to every job site. Thanks to their quick response, the bulk of the fire was out before the fire department even arrived.
This is the first fire we've had since OLMR began operations in 2017 — and it's exactly why vetting your contractor matters. Making sure a company shows up with the right equipment and a plan for the unexpected isn't optional, it's the job.
Huge thanks to Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue and Dundee Fire for their support, and to our own crew members on-site today for staying calm, prepared, and getting the job done safely.
