Born and raised in Salt Lake City, Steve Dailey has been in the home building industry since 1979. Steve started out as a brick contractor and obtained his general contractors license in 1986. Steve Dailey is the proud father of three children and an enthusiastic golfer and fisherman. Steve Dailey is on the Board of Directors for the Homebuilders Association of Utah also donated his time as the 20

12 Utah Parade of Homes Chairman and represents the Greater Salt Lake Homebuilders Association. Among the numerous awards received by Steven Dailey Construction for their work are:

Peoples Choice, Best of Show, Realtor’s Choice, Best Architecture and Excellent Work by Subcontractors. In June 2001, Steve received the “Helping Hands Award” from the Salt Lake County Mayor-Nancy Workman for his efforts in KKAT Radio’s “Home for the Holidays Christmas Wish”; for his part in rebuilding a home destroyed by a fire, leaving the family with nothing. Steve’s contribution to this crisis situation is an example of his dedication to the home building industry and vigilant concern for our community.

SDC had an incredible week! We were able to take our on site team members to a two day Building Science Symposium by Then we had 3 days of jobsite tours and education from the industries best! We asked a million questions from framing details with to HVAC and Plumbing questions with helped us understand how we could communicate with Utah architects to better design for air sealing and thermal bridging, and .bruton and answered millions of questions helping our team take everything to the next level! Then one of my favorite parts of the week was filming an episode of Built Here with .bruton all about what it’s like to be in a generational business and work side by side with family. Surprised that Steve Dailey would step in front of the camera and Jake said he did better than Me so maybe we will have to make more of that happen 😂 I can’t say Thank You enough to everyone who came to Utah this week! We’re so thankful for our peers and friends and so many more! My heart is filled with gratitude and I hope our team walked away from the symposium with a greater understanding of what we do and why we do it. Cheers to education and I’m so thankful for these moments!

Huge THANK YOU to our friends for stepping up to help us support the kids at Salt Lake community college during their competition today! We feel so lucky to be able to work with Brand partners like Milwaukee tools and our team is greatly appreciative for all the amazing products that we get to get our hands on! But when a company stepped up to support donations for a cause like this that is a company that Steven Dailey Construction will standby forever! These kids competing today are the next generation of traits people in our industry. Their teacher, Jordan is a freaking rockstar! He stands by these kids and support them. He encourages them to be better and he helps them thrive in this industry long-term. We’ve received at least three different employees directly from Jordan and his class. These kids are sharp they’re excited and they’re energized about this industry. We love hiring the students from Jordan’s construction program at Salt Lake, community college! I got to unboxed all the tools today and set them up for Jordan to pick up this afternoon before the competition starts. So much to know that these kids get to get their hands on the best tools in the business and I feel so much pride being a part of the Milwaukee tools team!

So proud of this team for showing up and spending time to help someone else out during the holidays. Over the last four weeks, our team took this bathroom from being completely torn apart and unusable to a beautifully finished safe and clean space for these homeowners. What a beautiful thing to be able to complete this project on Christmas Eve I know that this family will be able to use a fully functioning bathroom for the first time in a long time, Merry Christmas to everyone on our team I eternally grateful for everyone who helped out on this project. Did it with zero complaints, a smile on their face and no judgment in sight so proud of the SDC Team!
