Meet the youngest of the girls in Bob’s life. 🥰

It’s never too early to gain another little helper around Mountain High Home Builders! She may be small now, but who knows… maybe we’re looking at a future architect, draftsman or designer. 🏡

For now, she’ll just have to keep an eye on builder Bob and make sure he’s getting those plans right. 😉

With the weather changing, who doesn’t want to curl up in this bed with a hot cup of coffee and stare at that view all morning long? ☕️🏔️

Soon, the ski hill will be covered in snow and calling your name. And after a day of making turns, there’s nothing more inviting than coming home, pouring a glass of w**e, climbing back into bed, and letting the fireplace roar.

This is mountain living at its best, cozy, comfortable, and designed to make you never want to leave.

And just like that… this year’s Parade of Homes is a wrap! 🏡✨

What a blessing this past weekend has been. We have been completely overwhelmed by the incredible people who showed up, supported us, cheered us on, and took the time to walk through this home. The love and support from our community has meant more than we could ever put into words.

And in true small-town fashion, the very last guest to walk through the door yesterday happened to be dear friends. One of those little moments that reminds you just how special the people around you are. ❤️

We are leaving this Parade feeling incredibly grateful, proud, and so very blessed.

Thank you to everyone who came through the doors, shared our home, encouraged our team, and celebrated this milestone with us. We couldn’t have asked for a better first Parade of Homes experience.

And now…
LET’S SELL THIS HOUSE! 🏡🔑❤️

Are you free this afternoon or sometime this weekend? We’d love to invite you to come visit us at the Parade of Homes!

We are SO excited to finally have our first finished home, and even more thrilled with how it turned out. We entered several categories and are incredibly proud to have won Best Architectural Appeal, Best Curb Appeal, Best Craftsmanship, Best Kitchen, Best Primary Suite, Best Interior Decor, Best Floor Plan, AND the Realtor’s Choice Award! 🏆🏆🏆

It’s such a special accomplishment for us, and we would love to share it with you!

The views from the top of Schweitzer are spectacular, and it looks like we’re in for a beautiful weekend. Come up, take in the views, tour the house, and see what we’ve been working so hard on.

And who knows…we may even let you ride in the elevator! 😉 This home really does have everything imaginable.

We’d love to see you at the top of Schweitzer! 🏡❤️

Our Lakeshore Drive project is finally starting to look like a HOME. 🏡

What started as a vision, plans, dirt work, and a whole lot of hours is finally coming together right in front of our eyes.

Every week brings another piece of the puzzle, and we’re loving watching this one take shape.

Still plenty of work ahead, but you can finally start to see where the dream is headed. 🤍

There’s a right way to build a home and there’s the easy way.

We’ll choose the right way every single time.

Behind every custom home is a team that shows up, puts in the work, and refuses to cut corners. From the foundation to the final walkthrough, every detail matters because this isn’t just another project, it’s the place your family will call home for years to come.

Quality isn’t something we talk about. It’s something you can see in every stage of the build.

June brought some exciting progress to this custom home, and it’s starting to come to life.

From long days on the job site to countless details coming together, every step moves this home closer to becoming exactly what our clients envisioned. It’s always rewarding to watch a set of plans transform into something you can finally walk through.

A huge thank you to our incredible team and trade partners for the craftsmanship and dedication they bring every day. We can’t wait to share what’s coming next as this beautiful home continues to take shape.

Stay tuned! There’s a lot more to come. 🏡🔨

Meet the newest member of the Mountain High Home Builders crew… my son, Grady.
This summer he’ll be working alongside Sean and me, learning what it takes to build custom homes. Before we teach him how to frame a wall or swing a hammer, there’s one lesson that comes first…
Who the real boss is. (Hint: It isn’t Sean.😄)
We’re looking forward to putting him to work, teaching him the trade. Here’s to hoping he’s the hardest-working laborer in North Idaho by the end of the summer.
Welcome to the crew, Grady. Let’s get to work! 💪🏠

The Story Behind the Build

Every custom home has a story, and this one at Black Rock is no exception.

For Bob, owner of Mountain High Home Builders, this project is more than another house on the schedule. It’s an opportunity he doesn’t take for granted. With more than 30 years in the construction industry, he still approaches every build with the same passion and appreciation that first drew him to the trade.

“I feel incredibly privileged every time a family trusts us to build their home. Black Rock is a remarkable place, and being chosen to bring someone’s vision to life here is an honor. We don’t just build houses. We build the place where memories will be made for generations.”

Follow along as we take you behind the scenes of this incredible Black Rock build. From the first stake in the ground to the final walkthrough, we’re excited to share the journey with you.
