Over the years, I’ve run several different dangle heads and have owned my own processing head since 2015.

In 2018, I purchased an Axis Forestry rebuild, and Wayne upgraded me to the Gen 5 Cypress system. I was impressed then… but this past week took it to another level.

I had the opportunity to work alongside Axis Forestry technician Jacob while installing a new Rebel processing head in northeast Washington. Between the new features and the updated operating system, my mind was blown all over again. On top of that, I got a solid “Processor 101” from Jacob.

These guys know their stuff. I truly appreciated the chance to learn, work alongside him, and take direction… even if I might’ve slowed him down a time or two.

Axis builds a beautiful head, compact but tough enough to handle big limbs, and the Cypress system is the icing on the cake.

Huge thanks to Wayne and Jacob for the experience and the knowledge.Probably add to that. Congratulations to equipment owner Sean and operator Nick. Welcome to a bad ass club!

With approximately 17 inches of rain since the last week of October, roads and driveways, especially those located near or crossing waterways, streams, and rivers have taken a toll. These unusually high rainfall events can cause a lot of damage to roads, driveways, and culverts, but can often be fixed with large material (rip-rap) or resurfacing with coarser gravel.
