Just under 3 weeks until LoToJa! Some members of our Salt Lake-based teams spent last weekend putting in the miles and getting stronger for race day.

Every training ride is a reminder of why we do this: reliable power in health clinics for mothers and newborns.

Thank you to everyone who's already donated or spread the word. Your support means the world to our riders, and to the moms and babies We Care Solar serves.

We've been proud to support We Care Solar's mission by fundraising through LoToJa for the past 4 years.

We Care Solar is a nonprofit organization operating domestically and internationally, providing reliable electricity to mothers and newborns through its award-winning Solar Suitcase®.

The We Care Solar Suitcase® was designed to support timely and efficient obstetric care with medical lighting and power for mobile communication and small medical devices.

We can't wait to ride again this year in support of a cause we believe in.

This September, GroundWork is heading back to the start line of LoToJa, a 207.9-mile cycling relay from Logan, Utah, to Jackson, Wyoming. And this year, we're not riding alone.

7 teams. 26 riders. One goal: raise funds for We Care Solar.

We'll be sharing more about our partners and the mission behind every mile in the weeks ahead.

Follow along, this is going to be a fun ride. 💡🚴

Over the past six weeks, our CEO Ann Will has been sharing her thoughts on the Expectation Gap — the space between what a solar asset is modeled to do and what the evidence actually supports over its lifetime.

The gap starts early; resource estimates and equipment decisions are locked in before on-site measurement or independent validation happens.

It persists because development, construction, and operations run separately, and each phase inherits the last one's assumptions instead of testing them — so the gap compounds instead of closing.

Closing it means grounding assumptions in real data, validating equipment independently, and carrying performance data through the life of the asset.

That's the thinking behind full-stack solar intelligence.

Curious where your own gap might be? We'd love to talk. Reach out at [email protected].

At GroundWork, we're taking time this week to reflect on two meaningful occasions: Juneteenth and the Summer Solstice.

Juneteenth is a time to recognize and celebrate freedom, reflect on our nation's history, and acknowledge the ongoing work toward equity and opportunity for all.

The Summer Solstice, the longest day of the year, is a reminder of the power of the sun and the important role renewable energy plays in building a more sustainable future. It's a chance to appreciate the natural world and the work being done to help power it responsibly.

Wishing everyone a meaningful Juneteenth and a bright Summer Solstice.

We're heading to PV ModuleTech USA!

We're excited to join solar developers, solar asset owners and investors, PV manufacturers, and policymakers to discuss PV module supply chains and the evolving utility-scale solar market in the US.

At GroundWork, we're focused on helping the industry build with greater certainty through better data, testing, and insights.

If you're attending, we'd love to connect. Reach out to schedule a meeting at [email protected].
