Contemporary Eichler Backyard with Floating Deck

After and before photos from a project completed a couple years ago. I stopped by the other day and took these photos. This contemporary backyard remodel project includes a floating deck, new paving, mixed material retaining wall, rain chains, and landscape lighting.
So nice to see the Dogwoods in bloom!

Lucas Valley Contemporary Outdoor Living

After and Before photos from a project completed in the fall.
This contemporary remodel includes new pool paving, a poolside lounge deck, a "campfire" style fire pit, a shade pergola, large turfed play area, and new plantings. The landscape celebrates the homes Mid-Century Modern design and highlights the beautiful views of Lucas Valley.

Here are some after and before photos from a project started and completed during the pandemic, yes part of the pandemic home improvement boom. The beautiful home deep in Blithedale Canyon, Mill Valley had very few landscape improvements. Now the landscape architecture compliments the home's architecture and setting.

Better space layout for a growing family.
Here are some after and before photos from some recently completed work. Here we expanded the deck and connected the yard to the house. This way the kids can play in the yard and the parents can more easily see them. The hillside was cleaned up and made useful and some comfort features were added.
