Posting some drone progress photos of the Bermuda Drive Bridge Replacement Project for the City of San Mateo. Bridge abutments are poured, bypass piping supported by falsework while under bridge rock slope protection is installed underneath , all within the confines of the backyards of the surrounding community. A “postage stamp” job is an understatement here 😏

Bolinas seawall replacement project has commenced! Removing seawall armor stone in preparation for new permanent seawall sheet piling.
More progress posts to come over the next 6 months 💪 🚧 🏗️

Posting some phase I bridge abutment torque down pile driving (or screwing) progress photos of the Bermuda Drive bridge replacement for the City of San Mateo. Yes, heavy walled 18” steel pipe piles torsionally screwed into the earth with amazing hydraulic equipment courtesy of specialty subcontractor, Foundation Constructors.
Structure concrete abutment and bridge concrete on deck for this summer!

Some pictures of Valentine Corporation working for CalTrans on golden Tower Bridge over the Sacramento River in downtown Sacramento. This is an “unusual and difficult “ project to remove and replace traveling electrical cables, perform sheave modifications and replace electrical appurtenances for the lift span of the bridge….your tax dollars hard at work (in high places) 💪🦺

Valentine Corporation has been busy with the Bermuda Drive bridge replacement project, a tight access complicated job for the City of San Mateo.!
Picture dump of sheet pile abutment shoring, aquadam cofferdam (think giant water balloon dams) ,channel bypass piping installation, and load testing of torque down bridge piling 💪
