Two roofs can be exactly the same size and end up being very different projects.

Another Mill Valley roof complete, and this one is a showstopper.

This beautiful home has a lot going on from a roofing standpoint: multiple rooflines, valleys, dormers, transitions, and architectural details that all require careful attention to waterproofing and installation.

For this project, our crew completed a 27-square tear-off on the main house, installing CertainTeed Grand Manor shingles in Gatehouse Slate.

Grand Manor was an excellent choice for this home. The dimensional, slate-inspired shingle complements the architecture without taking away from the natural wood exterior and beautiful wooded setting.

One of the unique features of this project was the existing copper valleys and flashing. Rather than automatically replacing quality materials that still had useful life, our scope called for reusing the existing copper wherever possible. That's part of our approach: evaluate what is actually needed and give homeowners dependable recommendations for their specific home.

The finished result is a roof that looks like it belongs here, and one that was installed with the details underneath it receiving just as much attention as what you can see from the outside.

Meet the newest members of the McLeran Roofing & Gutters Team.🐾

In honor of National Dog Day, we figured it was finally time to introduce the two employees responsible for our recently increased social media presence.

Meet Archie - better known around the office as Chi Chi - our Pawject Manager. His responsibilities include supervising ongoing projects, maintaining snack inventory and making sure absolutely no one works through lunch.

And meet Gus Gus - Head of Puplick Relations. Gus specializes in community engagement, employee morale and staring directly into your soul until you give him whatever he wants.

Together, they're the paws behind the scenes helping McLeran Roofing & Gutters become a little more social.

Their roofing experience is questionable.

Their people skills? Exceptional.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “I’m usually discouraged by contractors. Your crew restored some faith.”

That’s the kind of feedback we’re especially proud to receive.

This 20-square roof replacement in Fairfax came with a surprise once tear-off began. Our crew uncovered a significant amount of dry rot that needed to be addressed before the new roofing system could be installed properly.

Once the damaged areas were taken care of, we installed CertainTeed Landmark PRO shingles in Weathered Wood, along with LeafBlaster gutter screens. We also installed a new gutter in Low Gloss White on an accessory building.

And despite the additional dry rot work, our crew completed the project in just two days.
