With the City of San Marcos performing gas meter work in our area, we wanted to share an important reminder about gas furnace safety!

We recently responded to a service call where a homeowner's furnace was not igniting properly and had been red-tagged and shut off as a safety precaution.

⚠️ What does a red tag mean? A red tag is a warning that a gas appliance has a potential safety concern that needs to be addressed before it can safely operate.

Did you know? According to the CDC, more than 400 Americans die each year from accidental carbon monoxide poisoning unrelated to fires. That's one reason having your gas furnace inspected is so important!

We know it can be stressful to replace your air conditioning system. This equipment you never think about until it breaks.

We pulled out this system and found dust and mildew. Sometimes you don’t know how the project will go until you start taking it apart.

Quick run to McCoy's Building Supply for some supplies and we got this mechanic room cleaned out and a fresh coat of paint.

Doesn’t hurt that the owners Sheila Beck who has 20 years of professional house cleaning and Lance Beck who has a full background in the paint industry were helping on this job.

Every detail counts!
